Description: This highly anticipated project is one that we are very excited to be working on. Tynwald Hill is a pair of large interconnecting semi-detached houses which were most recently used as a nursery. The property is in a popular and well-established location, attracting families and professionals, meaning if the property is renovated in the best way possible, it has excellent rental opportunities.
The space that the property offers internally is astounding, and when our client came to us for advice on how to make the most of the building, we reviewed all their options in great detail and the final decision was made to convert the property into 9 self-contained flats – this would include conversion of the current property, conversion of the loft space and erection of a single storey extension to the rear. We submitted the planning application, but we had to deal with many comments before we could proceed. We received a large amount of objection, so we presented our case professionally and worked closely with the Council on how best to achieve the most suitable and appropriate layout without compromising on profitable investment. We are confident that our vision is perfect for the property, the area and for the client. The property benefits from some beautiful features such as high ceilings, so we want to make sure our design takes this classic appearance into consideration. Each flat will be fitting with Mamilla’s luxury style, whilst maintaining the fantastic character throughout.
